The dairy industry is a fast growing sector in China, which offers enormous potential for German companies. Due to an increasing demand for western products, a strong health awareness and food safety scandals in China, Chinese companies particularly show a strong demand for qualitative dairy products. Germany and its quality seal “made in Germany” enjoy high reputation in China.

ICP has identified this potential and supports the German company Bayrische Milchindustrie eG (BMI) with their market entry and network building in China.

Within the cooperation with BMI, ICP contacted relevant ministries, organizations, industry partners, food producers etc. and built up a large network. Furthermore BMI has been included into the political network of the German-Chinese Friendship Association (DCF), partner of ICP. Therefore the doors to China could be opened for BMI on a political and economic level. In Addition to that, ICP carried out a detailed market analysis of the dairy industry sector in China, which led to a positive forecast for BMI.
